In addition to our direct financial contributions, Stratton Faxon is also a significant fixture at many community events, and sponsors the annual Stratton Faxon Road Race in the communities around Connecticut.

Stratton Faxon’s Fresh Faces Campaign, an innovative fund-raising effort to support legal aid in Connecticut, came to a very successful end in 2010, raising $500,000 in new and matched donations for legal services across the state. During the three-year campaign, Stratton Faxon matched contributions dollar for dollar, and challenged Connecticut Legal Services (CLS), New Haven Legal Assistance Association (NHLAA), and Greater Hartford Legal Aid (GHLA) to find ways of attracting new donors to their respective organizations and increasing donations from their ongoing supporters. Our goal was to establish a pattern of continual giving for legal services—these donations made a significant difference to families in desperate need of legal aid.
