Stop & Shop, ruling in favor of Stratton Faxon client Maureen Kelly, altered over 150 years of premises liability law in Connecticut and adopted the mode of operation rule eliminating need to show that a landowner had knowledge of a defective condition in order to recover for personal injuries.
