Pharmaceutical Liability
Pharmaceutical manufacturers have an obligation to provide products that are safe and effective for consumers when used as intended. A product’s approval by the FDA alone does not allow a manufacturer to avoid liability. In recent years, there has been a great deal of focus placed on prescription drug recalls and the problematic safety records of certain drugs. Some of the prescription drugs that fall into these categories are Celebrex, Bextra, Vioxx, and OxyContin. Ingredients in these drugs have proved to be harmful if taken over a prolonged period of time, and may even cause serious cardiovascular problems, or death. We currently represent over 250 families who have suffered injury due to Vioxx, Bextra, and Celebrex. If you or someone you know has suffered a heart attack, stroke, or death using these or any other prescription drugs,
please contact our office.
Researching the drugs you or a family member is taking can help prevent serious side effects. See the sites below for search options and/or recalls.
