      July 19 – July 22 Seaside Park, Bridgeport Check it out: Phil Lesh, Bob Weir and Branford Marsalis take the stage in what Rolling Stone says, “has grown into a multifaceted fest that’s not just for hippies.”  So hippie or not, grab  your best hemp sandals and get to Bridgeport’s seaside for this massive music fest.  Single day tickets are $65 for access to all stages and dozens of artists on Friday or Saturday.       August 6, 2012 7:00 am – 2:00 pm Griffith E. Harris Golf Course, Greenwich For the 9th year in a row, the Boys and Girls Club in Greenwich has organized this charity affair in support of its activities in the region. Shot-Gun Tee Off, scramble format with a lunch to follow at 1:00pm. All money raised goes directly to the Club, which focuses on providing a nurturing environment to young people of all ages, encouraging creativity, productivity, responsibility and potential.       August 3-5, 2012 @ various times Washington and Main Streets, South Norwalk 37th Anniversary of the lovely SoNo Arts Celebration in historic South Norwalk. The blocks on Washington and Main streets will no doubt spring to life with the visual and performance arts. A giant puppet parade, children’s parade and of course, plenty of food.
