Quote I live by

Never, never, never give up.

Mike Stratton has been trying law suits for more than 20 years and, at age 37, was the youngest member of any bar to be voted by his peers for inclusion in Best Lawyers. Mike has won dozens of multi-million dollar jury verdicts and settlements involving defective products and medical devices, securities fraud, aviation and trucking accidents, bad faith insurance claims practices and professional malpractice. While getting the maximum results for clients matters, Mike also believes that lawyers must create meaning from the monetary settlements achieved for clients. This strong, principled sense of social responsibility has inspired the firm’s commitment of donating at least 10% of every fee to support community organizations.

As a testament to Mike’s hardworking, strategic-driven approach, his verdicts have been recognized as being among the Top 100 in the nation and he has been selected by his peers as among the top 10 lawyers in Connecticut and the top 50 in New England among all legal specialties. In fact, in 2006, Mike obtained the highest federal court verdict ever awarded in a Connecticut personal injury case.

As the founding partner of Stratton Faxon, Mike serves on many boards including the Connecticut Bar Association House of Delegates, the executive committee of the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association, the national board of American Board of Trial Advocates, the national board of the American Association of Justice, the Connecticut Law Tribune Advisory Board, the Public Investors Bar Association and several other boards in and around New Haven, CT. Mike is also certified by the National Board of Trial Advocacy as a Civil Trial Advocacy Specialist.
